A group of Texas Democrats are returning to the state House in Austin where they will spend the night — the latest step in a broader protest over Republican plans to redraw congressional districts in the state. The state House Democratic caucus said in a news release that eight of its members will return to the floor Tuesday evening, “publicly tearing up the permission slips required by Republicans for members to leave the chamber.” The Democrats will join state Rep. Nicole Collier, their colleague who has remained locked in the state House chamber since Monday afternoon after she refused the condition of a security escort to leave the chamber. After Democratic lawmakers fled the state for two weeks, denying the House a quorum to move forward with redistricting legislation, Republican leaders have demanded that Democrats agree to around-the-clock security escorts to ensure they would return to the chamber Wednesday for the redistricting vote. Collier didn’t agree, so she has remained on the floor, while her party has livestreamed her protest for more than a day. Tuesday night, though, she’ll have company ahead of passage of the redistricting plan in the House, which could happen as soon as Wednesday. The legislation is meant to pad the GOP majority in Washington. Collier has framed her decision to remain in the Capitol as an act of defiance, telling NBC News she wouldn’t sign the de facto permission slip House GOP leaders presented to Democrats outlining the conditions that allowed them to leave the chamber. President Donald Trump said Tuesday that he has ordered his attorneys to conduct a review of Smithsonian museums, calling their portrayal of U.S. history too negative and focused too much on “how bad Slavery was.” Trump said he would subject the museums to “the exact same process” his administration has conducted of universities, with the goal of making the Smithsonian less “woke.” A White House official told NBC News on Tuesday night that Trump plans to extend his review of museums beyond the Washington-based institution, saying the president will hold the Smithsonian "accountable" and "then go from there." Trump wrote on Truth Social: “The Smithsonian is OUT OF CONTROL, where everything discussed is how horrible our Country is, how bad Slavery was, and how unaccomplished the downtrodden have been — Nothing about Success, nothing about Brightness, nothing about the Future.” “We are not going to allow this to happen, and I have instructed my attorneys to go through the Museums, and start the exact same process that has been done with Colleges and Universities where tremendous progress has been made,” he added. The Smithsonian did not immediately respond to a request for comment. The White House has waged war on several colleges and universities, pulling millions in federal funding from schools like Harvard, Columbia and Brown, alleging they fostered antisemitic climates and lowering the hammer on their diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives. Some of the schools have reached agreements with the administration walking back some of their DEI efforts, pledging to comply with federal policies and in some cases paying the government hundreds of millions of dollars. The Trump administration last week began conducting an unprecedented review of exhibits at the Smithsonian ahead of the country’s 250th anniversary in an effort to make sure they comply with Trump’s vision of history. The Smithsonian received a letter signed by White House Office of Management and Budget Director Russ Vought last week instructing officials at eight of its museums to turn over information about exhibits and plans to commemorate the country’s 250th anniversary within 30 days. It instructed the officials to implement “content corrections” where necessary, including replacing “divisive” language. NBC News found in May that at least 32 artifacts once on display at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture on the National Mall were removed, prompting questions from historical leaders. One artifact included a book belonging to Harriet Tubman, which was filled with hymns she was believed to have sung when she was leading enslaved people to freedom. The Smithsonian, which comprises 21 museums, 14 education and research centers and a zoo, is the world’s largest complex of its kind. The Brief Emmanuel Haro was reported missing on Thursday, Aug. 14. Authorities said the investigation took a turn after officials said his mother stopped cooperating. An attorney representing the child's father said the parents have been cooperative and that they are getting death threats. CABAZON, Calif. - The desperate search continues for Emmanuel Haro, a missing 7-month-old in Southern California, after authorities said his mother is no longer cooperating. On Tuesday, an attorney representing the child's father said what officials are claiming couldn't be further from the truth. What we know Investigators with the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department said there are inconsistencies with the mother's story. Since then, the search has intensified in San Bernardino and Riverside counties as authorities seek answers. Detectives have spent days combing through neighborhoods in Yucaipa and Cabazon, even using K-9 units inside the family's Cabazon home where search warrants have been served. During the search, officials said Emmanuel's parents, Jake and Rebecca Haro, remained silent. The backstory Emmanuel was reported missing and was allegedly kidnapped on Thursday, Aug. 14. The child's mother, Rebecca Haro, claimed she was attacked while changing her baby's diaper in the Big 5 parking lot in Yucaipa. She told reporters she heard someone behind her and fell to the ground. Once she got back up, her baby was gone. "I woke up on the floor and my son was gone," Rebecca Haro said in her last interview with FOX 11. However, detectives said her account doesn't add up. Over the weekend, investigators said there were inconsistencies and when confronted, they said she ended the interview. Now, detectives say foul play cannot be ruled out. The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department said the investigation continues, and they're working on any leads they may have. In addition, investigators continue to review a large amount of surveillance footage connected to the case. Dig deeper Court records show that Jake Haro pleaded guilty to child cruelty in a separate case in Riverside County back in 2018. Emmanuel's parents facing death threats, attorney saysThe other side The father's attorney spoke to FOX 11 on Thursday, Aug. 19 and denied what officials have been saying. The attorney said his client and his wife have been cooperating in the investigation and have turned over their phones, laptops, and passwords, adding they feel the sheriff's department should be doing more. "It doesn't seem law enforcement is doing anything to find this child," said Vincent Hughes, attorney for Jake Haro. "He's holed up in his house with his family because they are not getting the support that they need." Hughes said they're even facing death threats. They're at their home holed off for their safety and grieving their son," he said. After becoming informed that the parents were not cooperating with investigators in the case, the Uvalde Foundation For Kids withdrew its search and rescinded the reward money. Now, they "are prepared to give the benefit of the doubt in this case," after hearing the attorney's claims. In a statement released Tuesday, spokesperson James Earle wrote, "So here is our challenge - Join our search and you will be protected. A community seeks answers. You say that you do. Prove it, and our foundation and most assuredly a community will follow." The statement continued to say, "You have the opportunity to change the sad trajectory and narrative of this case, a case which involves your child. If you have nothing to hide. Step forward, and you will find you have more support than you could ever imagine. Finding Emmanuel should supersede everything else. Your renewed commitment and transparency will ignite a movement of support and we will find Emmanuel." ‘You don’t mess with children'What they're saying "It's something that just doesn't happen here. Yucaipa, Beaumont, Cabazon, even San Bernardino as big as the crime rate is there, you just don't mess with children," a local resident said. The community is holding onto hope. Video above: Crews fight house fire in South Sacramento The National Volunteer Fire Council said it partnered with State Farm to support local volunteer fire departments with funding to secure needed equipment to help keep first responders safe and protect their communities. Governor Newsom deploys fire resources in Los Angeles County Department necessities include personal protective equipment, EMS and rescue tools, communication devices and more. 150 departments in 44 states received the grant, including the Fall River Valley Fire Protection District in McArthur. “The NVFC is proud to team up with State Farm to continue the Good Neighbor Firefighter Safety Program and provide critical assistance to volunteer fire departments,” said NVFC Chair Steve Hirsch. Hirsch added, “Firefighting and rescue equipment is expensive, and many departments struggle to find the funding they need. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said Tuesday that the entire wall along the U.S.-Mexico border is going to be painted black to make it hotter and deter illegal immigration — an idea she said was "specifically at the request" of President Trump. Noem spoke during a visit to a portion of the wall in New Mexico, where she also picked up a roller brush to help out with the painting. She touted the height of the wall as well as its depth as ways to deter people seeking to go over or under the walls. And Noem said Homeland Security was going to be trying black paint to make the metal hotter. "That is specifically at the request of the president, who understands that in the hot temperatures down here when something is painted black it gets even warmer and it will make it even harder for people to climb. So we are going to be painting the entire southern border wall black to make sure that we encourage individuals to not come into our country illegally," Noem said. U.S. Border Patrol Chief Mike Banks, who attended the event with Noem, said the paint would also help deter rust. During Mr. Trump's first term, building the wall was a central focus of his hardline immigration policy, though construction on the wall faced some legal and logistical delays. During his second term, his mass deportation agenda with arrests in the interior of the country has been the main focus, but Homeland Security will be getting about $46 billion to complete the wall as part of new funding passed by Congress in the Trump-backed "One Big Beautiful Bill Act" this summer. The Trump administration has sought to fortify the southern border in other ways, too. Thousands of military personnel have been sent to the U.S.-Mexico border, and Mr. Trump has authorized the military to take control of narrow strips of public land along the border. Crossing into those territories is considered entering a military base, allowing them to be detained by both Border Patrol and the Defense Department, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth said earlier this year. Noem said the federal government has been building about a half mile of barrier every day. "The border wall will look very different based on the topography and the geography of where it is built," she said. She said that in addition to barriers like the one she visited Tuesday, the department is also working on "water-borne infrastructure." Long sections of the roughly 2,000-mile border between the U.S. and Mexico sit along the Rio Grande River in Texas. The Trump administration is pushing forward with completing the wall at the same time that the number of people crossing the border illegally has plummeted. Australia lashed Israeli leader Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday after he said the country's prime minister was weak, with a top minister saying strength was more than "how many people you can blow up". For decades, Australia has considered itself a close friend of Israel, but the relationship has swiftly unravelled since Canberra announced last week it would recognise a Palestinian state. Netanyahu drastically escalated a war of words on Tuesday night, calling his Australian counterpart Anthony Albanese a "weak politician who betrayed Israel". Australian Home Affairs Minister Tony Burke said Wednesday it was the sign of a frustrated leader "lashing out". "Strength is not measured by how many people you can blow up or how many children you can leave hungry," Burke told national broadcaster ABC. "What we've seen with some of the actions they are taking is a continued isolation of Israel from the world, and that is not in their interests either." Through the 1950s, Australia was a refuge for Jews fleeing the horrors of the Holocaust. Tại Trường Đại học Công nghiệp TPHCM, tiến sĩ Nguyễn Trung Nhân, Trưởng phòng Đào tạo cho hay, dự kiến điểm chuẩn học bạ từ 25 đến 29 điểm. Năm 2025, trường này dành 25% chỉ tiêu để xét học bạ trong số 10.000 tổng chỉ tiêu. Năm 2024, điểm chuẩn học bạ cao nhất của trường cũng là 29, thuộc ngành Kinh doanh quốc tế; Luật kinh tế cao thứ hai với 28 điểm. Nhiều ngành khác ở mức 26-27 điểm. Theo tiến sĩ Nguyễn Trung Nhân, điểm chuẩn học bạ cao bởi nhà trường đưa ra hàm quy đổi ở 3 khoảng điểm. Ở khoảng 17-21, điểm trúng tuyển học bạ = điểm trúng tuyển tốt nghiệp THPT + 4. Ở khoảng 21-25 điểm, điểm chuẩn học bạ = điểm trúng tuyển thi THPT x 0,749 + 9,27. Ở khoảng điểm 25-30, điểm chuẩn học bạ = điểm trúng tuyển thi tốt nghiệp x 0,398 + 18,06. Như vậy, nếu điểm chuẩn tốt nghiệp là 17 thì điểm chuẩn học bạ là 21, còn điểm chuẩn tốt nghiệp là 26 thì điểm chuẩn học bạ sẽ là 28,4... Ông Phạm Thái Sơn, Giám đốc tuyển sinh Trường Đại học Công Thương TPHCM thông tin, dự kiến điểm chuẩn học bạ THPT của ngành Logistics và chuỗi cung ứng là 26,66; ngành Marketing 26,5; nhóm ngành Du lịch lấy ở mức 25 - 25,5 cho 3 môn xét tuyển và lấy điểm trung bình của lớp 10, 11, 12. Tức là mỗi môn phải có điểm tổng kết gần 9 trở lên mới có cơ hội trúng tuyển. So với năm ngoái, khi điểm chuẩn học bạ cao nhất là 25, thì năm nay lên tới 26,6, tăng gần 2 điểm. Ví dụ, điểm thi tốt nghiệp THPT là 24 thì quy đổi thành điểm học bạ THPT là 25,9 theo quy tắc bách phân vị. Ngoài ra, do điểm khối C00 rất cao nên nhà trường quy đổi cho khối C00 lệch các khối khác 1 điểm, khối D01 lệch các khối khác 0,5 điểm. Chẳng hạn, ngành Luật xét tuyển các khối C00, D01, C03, C14 thì dự kiến khối C00 điểm chuẩn là 24, các khối còn lại là 23. “Điểm chuẩn học bạ năm ngoái thấp so với năm nay vì trước đây không quy đổi điểm học bạ. Năm nay, do xét tuyển cùng nhau nên các trường đại học phần lớn sẽ dùng công thức bách phân vị để quy đổi điểm. Do đó điểm học bạ THPT chắc chắn sẽ cao hơn năm ngoái", ông Sơn nói. Ngoài điểm chuẩn học bạ, Trường Đại học Công Thương TPHCM bước đầu xác định điểm chuẩn xét đánh giá năng lực ĐH Quốc gia TPHCM cũng cao hơn năm ngoái. Năm 2024, điểm chuẩn đánh giá năng lực tối đa là 750 cho các ngành Marketing, Logistics và chuỗi cung ứng, còn năm nay dự kiến là 800 và 815. Nhiều trường khác cũng sẽ có điểm chuẩn cao do quy đổi Dự kiến điểm học bạ tại nhiều trường đại học năm 2025 sẽ cao vút do áp dụng công thức quy đổi điểm. Tại Trường ĐH Luật TPHCM, điểm chuẩn xét học bạ của học sinh 149 trường THPT thuộc diện ưu tiên và xét học bạ kết hợp chứng chỉ quốc tế với điểm thi tốt nghiệp chênh lệch lớn nhất là 4,5 điểm ở khối D07; 4,1 điểm ở khối A01; 4 điểm ở các khối A00, D01-03-06; X25-33-45; 2,5 điểm ở khối D14; 2,3 điểm ở khối X01; 2,2 điểm ở khối C00; và 2 điểm ở các khối X78-86-98. Năm 2024, điểm chuẩn học bạ của Trường Đại học Luật TPHCM lên tới 27. Tại ĐH Kinh tế TPHCM, điểm chuẩn được quy đổi theo từng khoảng điểm của tổ hợp môn giữa học bạ và thi tốt nghiệp, với mức chênh từ 2,6 đến 3,5 điểm. Khoảng thấp nhất của học bạ là 19,5-23,64, tương đương 16-21,04 điểm thi tốt nghiệp, chênh lệch cao nhất là 3,5 điểm. Trường ĐH Nông Lâm TPHCM áp dụng hệ số quy đổi là 1,125. Nghĩa là điểm chuẩn của phương thức xét học bạ bằng điểm chuẩn phương thức xét điểm thi tốt nghiệp nhân với 1,125. Với cách thức này, nếu điểm chuẩn tốt nghiệp là 20 thì điểm chuẩn học bạ là 22,5, còn nếu điểm chuẩn tốt nghiệp là 25 thì điểm chuẩn học bạ là 28,1... Điều đó có nghĩa là khi điểm chuẩn tốt nghiệp càng cao thì sự chênh lệch càng lớn. Trong khi đó, tại Trường ĐH Văn Lang, chênh lệch tối đa giữa điểm học bạ và điểm tốt nghiệp được ghi nhận là 5. Cụ thể, điểm tốt nghiệp 22-29 sẽ tương đương với điểm học bạ 26-30; Điểm tốt nghiệp 17-22 sẽ tương đương điểm học bạ 22-26; Điểm tốt nghiệp 15-17 tương đương với điểm học bạ 18-22. Bốn ngân hàng chuyển giao bắt buộc gồm: Ngân hàng Dầu khí Toàn Cầu (GPBank), Ngân hàng Việt Nam Hiện Đại (MBV), Ngân hàng Ngoại thương Công nghệ số (VCBNeo) và Ngân hàng số Vikki (Vikki Bank) hiện đang nằm trong nhóm có lãi suất huy động cao nhất thị trường. Mức lãi suất tiền gửi niêm yết trên 4%/năm trở lên tại hầu hết kỳ hạn dưới 6 tháng giúp bốn ngân hàng này giữ vị trí dẫn đầu về lãi suất ngắn hạn. Ở các kỳ hạn dài, dù MBV, VCBNeo và GPBank không còn duy trì mức trên 6%/năm, nhưng mức lãi suất tiệm cận 6% vẫn tạo lợi thế cạnh tranh đáng kể trong việc cạnh tranh huy động vốn. Vikki Bank là ngân hàng duy nhất trong nhóm này duy trì mức lãi suất 6%/năm. Theo biểu lãi suất ngân hàng trực tuyến do Vikki Bank công bố, lãi suất ngân hàng kỳ hạn 1 tháng là 4,15%/năm, kỳ hạn 2 tháng là 4,2%/năm, kỳ hạn 3 tháng là 4,35%/năm, kỳ hạn 6 tháng là 5,65%/năm trong khi kỳ hạn 12 tháng là 5,95%/năm. Mức lãi suất huy động cao nhất do Vikki Bank niêm yết cho tiền gửi trực tuyến lên đến 6%/năm, áp dụng với tiền gửi kỳ hạn từ 12 tháng. So với lãi suất huy động trực tuyến, lãi suất huy động tại quầy được Vikki Bank niêm yết thấp hơn 0,1%/năm tương ứng mỗi kỳ hạn. Do đó, lãi suất huy động cao nhất tại quầy là 5,9%/năm được Vikki Bank áp dụng cho kỳ hạn tiền gửi từ 19-36 tháng. Tuy nhiên, Vikki Bank còn áp dụng mức lãi suất đặc biệt cho khách hàng gửi tiết kiệm kỳ hạn 3 tháng lĩnh lãi cuối kỳ với số tiền gửi từ 999 tỷ đồng, với mức cộng thêm là 1,8%/năm. Tại GPBank, lãi suất tiết kiệm cao nhất lên đến 5,95%/năm được ngân hàng này áp dụng cho tiền gửi trực tuyến kỳ hạn từ 12-36 tháng. Lãi suất tiền gửi trực tuyến các kỳ hạn còn lại gồm: Kỳ hạn 1-2 tháng là 3,95%/năm; kỳ hạn 3 tháng là 4,05%/năm; kỳ hạn 4-5 tháng là 4,3%/năm; kỳ hạn 6-8 tháng là 5,65%/năm và kỳ hạn 9 tháng là 5,75%/năm. Mức chênh lệch lãi suất tiền gửi giữa tiền gửi trực tuyến và tại quầy của GPBank khá lớn. Lãi suất tiền gửi cao nhất khi gửi tiết kiệm tại quầy là 5,2%/năm, kỳ hạn 12-36 tháng lĩnh lãi cuối kỳ (so với mức 5,95%/năm khi gửi tiết kiệm trực tuyến). Tuy nhiên, với tài khoản tiền gửi có số dư từ 500 triệu đồng, lãi suất sẽ tăng từ 5,2%/năm lên 5,45%/năm với kỳ hạn 12-13 tháng. Đối với ngân hàng MBV, lãi suất tiết kiệm cao nhất đang là 5,9%/năm, áp dụng cho cả tiền gửi tại quầy và trực tuyến kỳ hạn 18-36 tháng, lĩnh lãi cuối kỳ. Các kỳ hạn còn lại có sự phân hóa về lãi suất giữa tiết kiệm tại quầy và tiết kiệm trực tuyến. Theo biểu lãi suất tiết kiệm trực tuyến của MBV, lãi suất kỳ hạn 1 tháng lên đến 4,1%/năm, kỳ hạn 2 tháng là 4,2%/năm, kỳ hạn 3 tháng là 4,4%/năm, kỳ hạn 4-5 tháng lên đến 4,7%/năm (mức cao nhất thị trường hiện nay). Lãi suất tiết kiệm trực tuyến kỳ hạn 6-8 tháng được MBV niêm yết tại 5,5%/năm, kỳ hạn 9-11 tháng 5,7%/năm và kỳ hạn 12 tháng là 5,8%/năm. So với tiền gửi trực tuyến, lãi suất huy động tại quầy các kỳ hạn từ 1-12 tháng tại MBV thấp hơn mức phổ biến là 0,2%/năm. Còn tại VCBNeo, dù lãi suất tiền gửi trực tuyến cao nhất chỉ 5,55%/năm, áp dụng cho kỳ hạn 13-36 tháng, nhưng nhà băng này lại đang dẫn đầu về mức lãi suất tiền gửi kỳ hạn dưới 6 tháng. Theo đó, lãi suất tiền gửi trực tuyến kỳ hạn 1-2 tháng do VCBNeo công bố là 4,35%/năm, kỳ hạn 3-4 tháng là 4,55%/năm và kỳ hạn 5 tháng lên đến 4,7%/năm. VCBNeo niêm yết lãi suất 5,6%/năm cho tiền gửi trực tuyến kỳ hạn 6-7 tháng, nhưng lãi suất kỳ hạn 8 tháng chỉ 5,4%/năm và kỳ hạn 9-11 tháng là 5,45%/năm. Lãi suất tiền gửi trực tuyến kỳ hạn 12 tháng đang được VCBNeo niêm yết tại 5,5%/năm. So với lãi suất tiền gửi trực tuyến, VCBNeo niêm yết lãi suất tại quầy thấp hơn từ 0,1-0,2%/năm, ở mức 5,45%/năm áp dụng với kỳ hạn 12-36 tháng. CTCP Ô tô TMT (HoSE-TMT) vừa công bố báo cáo tài chính hợp nhất soát xét bán niên năm 2025 và giải trình kết quả kinh doanh quý II/2025. Theo đó, báo cáo hợp nhất cho thấy TMT Motors lãi gần 55 tỷ đồng, trong khi cùng kỳ lỗ gần 99 tỷ đồng. Lý do chính là do giá vốn bán hàng giảm nhờ kiểm soát chi phí và chi phí tài chính giảm mạnh 27,6 tỷ đồng (theo báo cáo riêng), tương đương giảm 53,4%. TMT Motors cho biết, sở dĩ chi phí tài chính giảm mạnh chủ yếu do công ty đã quyết sách rất mạnh mẽ để giải phóng hàng tồn kho, tất toán nợ trước hạn các khoản vay ngân hàng. Trước đó, TMT Motors thua lỗ triền miên nhiều quý, kể từ quý cuối năm 2023, đỉnh điểm lỗ gần 123 tỷ đồng trong quý IV/2024, sau khi đã lỗ hơn 100 tỷ đồng trong quý II/2024 và lỗ khoảng 93 tỷ đồng trong quý III/2024 do bán hàng dưới giá vốn, chi phí tài chính quá cao, hàng tồn kho lớn. Ông lớn bán xe điện Trung Quốc lỗ quá nửa vốn điều lệ vào cuối năm 2024 và lý do được giải thích là do “khó khăn kinh tế chung, bất động sản đóng băng, nguy cơ về lạm phát, người dân thắt chặt chi tiêu…” khiến lượng tiêu thụ ô tô giảm sâu. TMT Motors gặp khó khi lấn sân sang lĩnh vực xe điện từ năm 2023 và xóa toàn bộ lãi tích lũy nhiều năm sau khi lấn sân sang mảng kinh doanh này. Trong năm 2023, TMT ghi nhận doanh thu giảm 13% và lợi nhuận giảm 95%. Năm 2024 TMT cũng ghi nhận doanh thu giảm và thua lỗ. Đây là một bước lùi trong hoạt động kinh doanh, dẫn tới sức khoẻ tài chính suy giảm. Việc bán xe điện Trung Quốc gặp rất nhiều khó khăn trong 2 năm 2023-2024 trong bối cảnh tiêu thụ xe ô tô nói chung giảm sút. Hoạt động kinh doanh của TMT cũng bị giảm sút mạnh sau khi kế hoạch kinh doanh mẫu xe điện Trung Quốc giá rẻ Wuling Hongguang MiniEV không đạt kỳ vọng. Trong năm 2024 TMT sa lầy với mẫu xe điện cỡ nhỏ nổi tiếng tại Trung Quốc Wuling Hongguang MiniEV do liên doanh General Motors (Mỹ) - SAIC (Trung Quốc) - Wuling (Trung Quốc) sản xuất. Wuling từng là mẫu xe ô tô cỡ nhỏ bán chạy nhất thế giới 4 năm liên tiếp (2020 - 2023). TMT bán với giá chỉ từ 239 triệu đồng/xe. Có nhiều thời điểm, Wuling còn được giảm giá xuống thêm vài chục triệu đồng. Mặc dù vậy, việc bán xe Wuling khá chậm. Trong năm 2023, TMT chỉ bán được 591 chiếc xe điện Wuling Hongguang MiniEV, thấp hơn nhiều so với kế hoạch bán hơn 5.500 chiếc. TMT Motors tiền thân là Công ty Thương mại và Sản xuất vật tư Thiết bị giao thông vận tải. Hoạt động chính của công ty là sản xuất, lắp ráp và kinh doanh xe ô tô, phụ tùng các loại. TMT Motors được biết đến với nhiều sản phẩm xe tải nổi tiếng như Cửu Long, Tata, Howo, xe đầu kéo Sinotruk,… có tải trọng lớn. Trong những năm 2014-2017, TMT ghi nhận lợi nhuận cao, tương ứng 64 tỷ đồng, 187 tỷ đồng, 48 tỷ đồng và hơn 11 tỷ đồng. Năm 2021 và 2022 TMT cũng báo lợi nhuận hơn 41 và hơn 48 tỷ đồng. Doanh nghiệp do ông Bùi Văn Hữu làm chủ tịch bắt đầu gặp nhiều khó khăn từ năm 2023. TMT gặp khó với mẫu xe Wuling. TMT cũng đã khai trương nhiều đại lý trên nhiều tỉnh thành. Quyết định lắp ráp và phân phối xe điện của TMT là rất nhanh, nhưng kết quả chưa tương ứng với tham vọng. Mức độ cạnh tranh trên thị trường ngày càng gay gắt khi VinFast (VFS) của tỷ phú Phạm Nhật Vượng đẩy một lượng lớn xe điện ra thị trường, cùng lúc xuất hiện thêm nhiều ông lớn như BYD của Trung Quốc cũng tham gia. Gần đây, TMT đẩy mạnh việc tái cấu trúc sản phẩm và nhà cung cấp. Hồi tháng 7, TMT Motors công bố hệ sinh thái từ xe điện mini đến xe máy điện, đồng thời hé lộ kế hoạch xây trạm đổi pin xe điện siêu tốc. TMT Motors dự kiến sẽ tung ra 5 mẫu xe máy điện trong quý IV/2025. Các dòng xe này hướng tới người dùng thường xuyên di chuyển trong đô thị như sinh viên, tài xế công nghệ, nhân viên giao hàng, người lao động thu nhập trung bình và các đơn vị vận tải nhỏ. TMT cũng mở rộng dòng xe ô tô điện, trong đó có mẫu xe cỡ nhỏ hơn mẫu Wuling MiniEV, là dòng xe 2 chỗ, 2 cửa Nano S05, có giá chỉ nhỉnh hơn giá một số dòng xe tay ga cao cấp. Hiện Ô tô TMT đặt mục tiêu sẽ có 30.000 trạm sạc trên cả nước trong vòng 5 năm tới. Riêng trong năm nay, công ty dự kiến sẽ mở khoảng 200 trạm sạc. Năm 2025, TMT đặt kế hoạch doanh thu thuần hơn 3.838 tỷ đồng và lợi nhuận sau thuế 270 tỷ đồng. Như vậy, nửa đầu năm nay, TMT mới hoàn thành khoảng 32% kế hoạch doanh thu và 20% mục tiêu lợi nhuận của cả năm.
