What many consider vehicular monstrosities are beloved by customers who can both afford them financially and, at the same time, disregard the collective gasps of horror. The German tuning house is infamous for taking some of the world’s most desirable cars and making them visually offensive by adding garish body kits, excessive carbon fiber, eye-searing paint jobs, and interiors so overdone, they make Liberace look like a Zen Buddhist. And yet, despite the near-universal roasting they receive online, Mansory’s cars sell quite well. How does this happen, you ask? How does a brand that’s seemingly allergic to modesty thrive in an industry where taste and prestige reign supreme? We take a closer look at Mansory and what's behind these immodest modifications. The Mansory storyMansory's namesake comes from its founder, Kourosh Mansory, an Iranian-born entrepreneur with a taste for automotive luxury. Theo kế hoạch, từ 7h ngày 13/8 đến 17h ngày 15/8, Bộ GD-ĐT phối hợp với các cơ sở đào tạo rà soát toàn bộ cơ sở dữ liệu thí sinh đăng ký nguyện vọng trên hệ thống chung, chuẩn bị quy trình lọc ảo. Ngày 16/8, các trường tải cơ sở dữ liệu trên hệ thống và tổ chức xét tuyển. Như vậy, từ ngày 16/8 đến 17h ngày 20/8, Bộ GD-ĐT cùng các cơ sở đào tạo chính thức bước vào quy trình lọc ảo gồm 6 lần. Lần lọc ảo thứ 6 kết thúc vào 16h30 ngày 20/8. Hệ thống hỗ trợ xét tuyển của Bộ GD-ĐT bảo đảm mỗi thí sinh chỉ trúng tuyển một nguyện vọng cao nhất. Theo kế hoạch, các cơ sở đào tạo sẽ công bố điểm chuẩn và thí sinh trúng tuyển đại học năm 2025 trước 17h ngày 22/8. Theo hướng dẫn của Bộ GD-ĐT, đến 17h ngày 20/8, các cơ sở đào tạo nhập mức điểm trúng tuyển và kết quả xét tuyển lên hệ thống. Rà soát và chuẩn bị công bố kết quả trúng tuyển đợt 1 theo lịch chung. Các cơ sở đào tạo sẽ công bố điểm chuẩn và thí sinh trúng tuyển đợt 1 trước 17h ngày 22/8. Thí sinh xác nhận nhập học trực tuyến đợt 1 trên hệ thống trước 17h ngày 30/8. Tính đến hết ngày 28/7 - hạn đăng ký xét tuyển trên Hệ thống của Bộ GD-ĐT - có 849.544 thí sinh đăng ký xét tuyển năm 2025, chiếm tỷ lệ 73,23%. Như vậy, có hơn 310.400 thí sinh đã không đăng ký xét tuyển đại học và cao đẳng năm 2025. Cũng theo thống kê của Bộ GD-ĐT, tổng số nguyện vọng đăng ký xét tuyển đại học và cao đẳng năm 2025 là 7.615.560. Theo đó, mỗi thí sinh đăng ký trung bình khoảng 9 nguyện vọng. Sở GD-ĐT tỉnh Khánh Hòa vừa ban hành văn bản chấn chỉnh hoạt động thu đầu năm học 2025-2026, yêu cầu tất cả các trường công lập trên địa bàn thực hiện đồng phục học sinh thống nhất. Theo đó, Sở GD-ĐT yêu cầu các trường học không được làm đồng phục riêng, không có các phụ kiện như cà vạt, viền tay áo, cổ áo hay cầu vai có màu sắc khác. Ngoài ra, các trường không tổ chức dịch vụ may hay bán quần áo học sinh dưới bất kỳ hình thức nào. Học sinh ở Nha Trang (tỉnh Khánh Hòa). Ảnh: X.N Toàn tỉnh hiện có 510 trường phổ thông từ lớp 1 đến lớp 12, với tổng số khoảng 440.000 học sinh, sẽ mặc chung đồng phục. Quyết định trên được Sở GD-ĐT đưa ra nhằm giúp phụ huynh giảm bớt gánh nặng tài chính vào đầu năm học. Bên cạnh đó, học sinh của các trường khác nhau có thể mặc đồng phục của nhau, tạo điều kiện thuận lợi cho việc sử dụng lại đồng phục cũ. Đối với một số trường trong khu vực (thuộc tỉnh Ninh Thuận cũ) đã có đồng phục riêng, ngành giáo dục cũng thông tin rằng học sinh ở những trường này vẫn được phép tiếp tục sử dụng đồng phục cũ mà không cần phải mua mới. Sở GD-ĐT tỉnh cũng yêu cầu các trường không tổ chức bán sách giáo khoa, vở, dụng cụ học tập, mà chỉ thông báo để phụ huynh tự mua sắm. Bộ Quốc gia Giáo dục, nay là Bộ Giáo dục - Đào tạo (Bộ GD-ĐT) được thành lập ngay từ những ngày đầu khai sinh nước Việt Nam Dân chủ Cộng hòa. Từ đó đến nay đã có 13 vị bộ trưởng nhận nhiệm vụ lãnh đạo ngành giáo dục đào tạo nhưng chỉ 1 bộ trưởng là nữ. Đó là bà Nguyễn Thị Bình. Tham gia cách mạng từ tháng Tám năm 1945, bà hoạt động trong phong trào giành chính quyền ở Sài Gòn, tiếp tế vũ khí cho chiến khu, giữ nhiều chức vụ trong Hội Phụ nữ cứu quốc và Mặt trận Liên - Việt. Giai đoạn 1951-1954, bà bị giam tại khám Chí Hòa, sau đó tiếp tục hoạt động phong trào hòa bình đòi thi hành Hiệp định Giơnevơ. Từ 1955 đến 1968, bà công tác tại Hội Liên hiệp Phụ nữ Trung ương, giữ chức Trưởng ban Phúc lợi, rồi Ủy viên Trung ương phụ trách đối ngoại của Mặt trận Dân tộc Giải phóng miền Nam Việt Nam. Giai đoạn 1969-1976, bà là Bộ trưởng Ngoại giao Chính phủ Cách mạng lâm thời Cộng hòa miền Nam Việt Nam, Trưởng đoàn đàm phán tại Hội nghị Pari. Sau thống nhất, bà làm Bộ trưởng Bộ Giáo dục (1976-1987), rồi Phó Trưởng ban Đối ngoại Trung ương, Chủ nhiệm Ủy ban Đối ngoại Quốc hội (1987-1992). Hai ngư dân đi cùng ông Thạch được tàu cá khác phát hiện sớm cứu lên bờ an toàn, riêng ông Thạch bị mất tích. Ngày 12/8, người thân đăng bài và thông tin về ông Thạch mất tích lên mạng xã hội nhờ các tàu cá hỗ trợ tìm kiếm. Khoảng 16h20 ngày 12/8, ông Thạch được một tàu đánh cá phát hiện, trục vớt sau 24 giờ lênh đênh trên biển. Ngay sau đó lực lượng chức năng đã có mặt hỗ trợ đưa ông Thạch lên bờ an toàn. Bộ Tài nguyên và Môi trường cho biết một người Việt trung bình phát thải khoảng 2,5 tấn CO2 mỗi năm. Con số này bao gồm lượng khí thải từ các hoạt động sản xuất, tiêu dùng và sinh hoạt hàng ngày. Tuy nhiên, không nhiều người nhận thức được rằng các quyết định chi tiêu - từ ly cà phê sáng, chuyến xe di chuyển, đến bộ quần áo thời trang - đều để lại dấu chân carbon. Aug. 12—Last week, Avista reduced the amount of water passing through the Post Falls Dam into the Spokane River in an effort to maintain water levels in Lake Coeur d'Alene. The reduction to the lowest flow requirement of 500 cubic feet per second happens nearly every year, Avista spokesman Jared Webley said. Per the dam license, renewed in 2009, the volume cut is required if the lake water level falls to around 3 inches below average. Webley said the decreased water allowed through the dam will not have an impact on the electricity it generates. Water in the Inland northwest has to be divvied up between a number of different users, said Dan McCracken, the regional administrator for Idaho's environmental quality department. "If we didn't decrease the flows in the river downstream of Post Falls Dam, we would see a more rapid fall of water levels in Coeur d'Alene Lake," McCracken said. "Everyone suffers a little bit instead of one group takes the entire brunt of the impact of having less water in the watershed coming down the river." Webley said the flow will remain low until the Tuesday after Labor Day, per licensing requirements.
