現年63歲，昔日的「無綫五虎」之一的黃日華明確表示無意重返演藝圈，即使好友劉德華邀請拍戲也婉拒，享受低調生活，但熱愛足球的他還不時與明星足球隊於內地穿州過省作賽，日前他隨隊出埠，與粉絲的互動大展幽默一面。
