烏克蘭總統澤連斯基（Volodymyr Zenelsky）8月18日訪問白宮，與美國總統特朗普（Donald Trump，又譯川普）及多名歐洲領袖舉行會談，討論結束俄烏戰爭。澤連斯基表示，基輔的安全保障方案很可能在10天內確定。

澤連斯基在會後向傳媒稱，烏克蘭的夥伴可能會詳細討論安全保障方案，屆時將披露更多細節。所有這些都將在未來一週到10天內，以書面方式正式決定下來。
