美國猶他州警方8月17日接獲家庭糾紛報案後，3名警員前往現場後遭槍擊，2人死亡，1人受傷，事件中有1名男子被捕。

案發現場為猶他北部，警方17日接獲報案指特里蒙頓（Tremonton）居民區發生家庭糾紛，派出警員到場，卻發生警員遭槍擊事件，2人死亡，1名副警長及1隻警犬受傷送醫，情況穩定。

警方指「他們一到就立即開火」，「他們請求增派部隊，然後就不再接聽對講機了。」

在警員中槍後，旁觀者勸說一男子放下武器，特警隊隨後趕到現場，清理房屋並確認沒有進一步威脅。

涉事男子因涉嫌加重謀殺（aggravated murder）罪被捕。
