Update: Traffic moving on I-295 SB after semi fire closed all lanes | First Alert Traffic

UPDATE, 6:35 AM: One lane of traffic is now open on Interstate 295 at Beach Boulevard following a semi truck fire that had all lanes closed.

Crews continue removing the wreckage from the road as traffic moves slowly on the roadway.

END UPDATE

Traffic on Interstate 295 southbound at Beach Boulevard is being diverted Monday morning due to a semi truck on fire, Jacksonville police said just after 4 a.m.

Police said the roadway will be closed until further notice and I-295 traffic is being diverted onto Beach Boulevard.
