　週明け18日の東京株式市場は、日経平均株価（225種）が続伸し、週明けも2営業日連続で終値としての最高値を更新した。終値は前週末比336円00銭高の4万3714円31銭を付けた。外国為替市場で円相場が対ドルで下落し、1ドル＝147円台前半から半ばで取引されたことを追い風に買い注文が優勢となった。
