　週明け18日午前の東京株式市場は日経平均株価（225種）が続伸し、取引時間中としての最高値を更新した。外国為替市場での円安・ドル高の進行を好感した買い注文が優勢となり、前週末終値からの上げ幅は一時300円を超えた。幅広い銘柄で構成する東証株価指数（TOPIX）も取引時間中の最高値を付けた。
