歐霸盃盟主熱刺與歐聯冠軍巴黎聖日耳門爭奪歐洲超級盃，熱刺憑兩大中堅羅美路及雲迪雲各建一功，但最後10分鐘未能守住勝局，PSG末段攻成2：2平手，需要互射12碼決勝負，熱刺最後以3：4落敗失冠。
PSG主帥安歷基賽後坦言熱刺今仗表現更佳，但足球有時就是不太公平。

熱刺力爭再添冠軍，雲迪雲近門「執雞」及羅美路頭槌建功，熱刺48分鐘領先巴黎聖日耳門2：0。李剛仁與干卡路（Goncalo Ramos）下半場入替，兩名後備兵在85分鐘及94分鐘先後建功，法定時間追成2：2平手。互射12碼階段，熱刺的雲迪雲及泰爾宴客，最終以3：4落敗，無緣再捧走冠軍。
