One dead, one in custody after morning homicide in Clinton, Missouri

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One person is dead and another is in custody following an early morning homicide in Clinton, Missouri.

According to a Facebook post from the Clinton Police Department, officers were called to the area of South Main Street and West Ohio Street on reports of a homicide on Wednesday morning.

Police have not released the victim’s name, and a suspect has been taken into custody.

There are no details regarding the nature of the homicide; however, police reassured that there is no danger to the public at this time, and that they will release more details as their investigations continue.
