　ミャンマーで2021年2月のクーデターにより大統領代行に就任したミンスエ氏が7日、国内の病院で死去した。国営メディアが報じた。ミンスエ氏が病気療養に専念するため、24年7月から職務はミンアウンフライン国軍最高司令官が担っていた。

　国軍出身のミンスエ氏は、クーデター当時は副大統領だったが、アウンサンスーチー国家顧問兼外相やウィンミン大統領が拘束されると大統領代行に就任。直後に非常事態宣言を発令し、ミンアウンフライン氏に全権を移した。

　国軍は7月31日に4年半ぶりに非常事態宣言を解除。今年12月にも総選挙を実施する方針だ。【バンコク武内彩】
