KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City Police Department is investigating a shooting near an apartment complex at 93rd Street and Bales.

According to police dispatch, one person has life-threatening injuries.

The call came in at about 10:40 a.m. Wednesday, KCPD said.
