Lập tức, bé xuất hiện tình trạng lơ mơ rồi hôn mê, được đưa đi cấp cứu tại Bệnh viện Phúc Sơn (Hưng Yên), xác định ngừng tim. Bệnh nhi được ép tim ngoài lồng ngực, đặt ống nội khí quản bóp bóng hỗ trợ thở. Methadon là loại thuốc thuộc nhóm opioid, có tác dụng kéo dài và gây ức chế mạnh hệ thần kinh trung ương. Chỉ với một lượng nhỏ, trẻ có thể nhanh chóng rơi vào hôn mê sâu, suy hô hấp và tử vong nếu không được phát hiện và điều trị kịp thời. Nhận định đây là trường hợp ngộ độc opioid nặng, nguy cơ tử vong cao, các bác sĩ liên hệ hội chẩn qua điện thoại với đồng nghiệp Khoa Hồi sức tích cực, Bệnh viện Nhi Thái Bình. Bệnh nhi được chỉ định tiêm thuốc giải độc đặc hiệu trước khi chuyển viện, tiếp tục điều trị chuyên sâu. Khi vào Bệnh viện Nhi Thái Bình, trẻ trong tình trạng rất nguy kịch: Hôn mê sâu, đồng tử co nhỏ 2mm, tri giác không đáp ứng, chi lạnh ẩm, nhịp tim nhanh 140 lần/phút. Ê-kíp cấp cứu xác định đây là ca suy hô hấp tiến triển do ngộ độc Methadon, lập tức khởi động phác đồ điều trị ngộ độc opioid chuyên sâu, duy trì thông khí bằng ống nội khí quản, thiết lập đường truyền tĩnh mạch, theo dõi chỉ số sinh tồn liên tục từng phút. Bệnh nhi được chăm sóc tại Khoa Hồi sức tích cực, Bệnh viện Nhi Thái Bình. Hai ngày đầu tiếp nhận bệnh nhân, ê-kíp điều trị luôn trong trạng thái sẵn sàng phản ứng nhanh với mọi biến đổi nguy hiểm. May mắn, tình trạng của trẻ dần cải thiện. Huyết động ổn định, đồng tử đáp ứng với ánh sáng. Sau đó, trẻ bắt đầu mở mắt khi được gọi, tri giác hồi phục dần, tự thở tăng dần. Sau khi đánh giá chức năng hô hấp đảm bảo, các bác sĩ quyết định rút ống nội khí quản trong điều kiện an toàn tuyệt đối và cho trẻ tập thở chủ động. NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – The New Mexico Wildlife Center said a Sonoran gopher snake made an understandable, yet dangerous mistake when looking for a meal. The center said the snake ventured into a chicken coop for a snack but accidentally swallowed two fake eggs. They said decoy eggs cannot be digested, but thankfully, the center was able to remove them from the snake and release it to a safe location. Thấy ông T. vẫn không đồng ý, bị cáo Phương cầm búa đánh nhiều cái vào đầu khiến hàng xóm ngã xuống đám lục bình kế bên.
