18歲男生趁繼母外出，9歲繼妹又稱怕黑，便到繼母房陪繼妹睡覺，涉乘機脫下二人褲子，在繼妹臀部磨擦及摸其胸，繼妹裝睡至母親回家揭發事件。男生早前在高等法院承認一項非禮罪，法官游德康今（7日）判刑時指，報告指被告隨父來港後有適應障礙，並有幻覺及幻聽的情況，他與人建立親密感有障礙而犯案。然而繼妹受事件影響，出現抑鬱等情況，需長期接受心理治療。游官指案件屬家庭悲劇，判被告入教導望減低其重犯風險，並特別改用廣東話勸被告不要放棄。 辯方求情指屬一次性事件現已20歲的被告PMS（無業）被控於2023年11月8日，在深水埗一單位非禮當時9歲的X。控方早前透露，被告原被控1項未經同意的肛交罪，後來獲撤控，為節省轉介案件時間，因此案件在高等法院處理。 辯方求情時指，本案屬一次性事件，認為判處被告教導所合適。 被告PMS在高等法院承認非禮9歲繼妹X，被判入教導所。(黃浩謙攝)事主事後出現自殘行為法官判刑時透露，被告於內地出生，於2014年隨父親來港定居。精神科報告指，被告來港後有適應問題，出現幻覺和幻聽，曾向精神科求醫，其後情況已改善，報告又指被告同人建立親密關係有障礙，自尊心亦低，重犯性罪行的機會偏低。而事主的創傷報告則指，她不明白案發時發生什麼事，事後出現自殘行為。 事後被告父亦搬離事主母親的單位游官指案情嚴重，被告獲繼母信任以照顧繼妹X，卻違反誠信，X本身患有專注力不足及過度活躍症，屬邊緣智障。這事後，被告父親已搬走，X有因而遭母親怪責，X在事件中仍受到創傷。 被告沒向X威迫利誘法官考慮被告案中沒有向X威迫利誘，也沒有使用暴力，案發時間相對較短，本案屬家庭悲劇，認為判被告教導所，可向他提供指引，減低其重犯的風險，因此判處被告教導所。 官著被告不要放棄自己游官判刑時使用英語，判刑後改以廣東話向被告說：「被告人，你唔可以放棄，OK？」游官又說，每個人都有挑戰，若未能解決，可尋求他人協助，相信心理輔導可以協助被告和X。 法官續指，若被告關心父親或他人，更應照顧自己。法官繼而向到旁的被告父親稱：「唔好放棄個仔」，亦著他好好照顧自己，避免令兒子擔心。 被告與X是同父異母的兄妹案情指，女童X及被告（案發時分別9和18歲）是同父異母的兄妹，兩人的父母均曾再婚，除女童及被告，被告另有2名兄弟，一家六口居於深水埗一單位。單位以窗簾分隔客廳和飯廳，母女睡一張床，被告4父子睡另一張床。 X母到便利店繳費被告乘機非禮事發當晚10時許，X母去了便利店繳費，她出門前吩咐被告叫X和幼子睡覺。X對被告稱她怕黑，被告便入了X的房間陪她。當X睡著後，被告反轉X的身體，令她趴在床上。被告之後除下二人的褲子，用陽具前後磨擦X的臀部約4分鐘，又摸X的乳房，X感到害怕而不敢作聲，假裝睡覺。被告其後再用陽具磨擦X的肛門附近。 X母回家發現房門反鎖揭發事件X母約1小時後回家，被告聽到開門聲急忙穿回褲子躲到房門後，並反鎖房門。X母最後開門，揭開被子發現X下身赤裸。被告承認摸X的私處，X母大怒斥責他。 被告初時因肛交罪被捕翌日父母帶被告到警署，被告就肛交罪被捕。他警誡下問警員：「阿sir，咩叫肛交？」他在錄影會面稱，他因性衝動犯案。醫療報告顯示，X的外陰及肛門檢查未發現異常，但她拒絕接受法醫檢查。 案件編號：HCCC 97/2025 男生磨9歲繼妹臀遭繼母揭發　被捕反問警甚麼叫肛交　認非禮候判患過度活躍青年認3度非禮6歲繼妹　官關注是否有心理問題押後判同母異父兄弟性侵表妹　官指欠指導下犯案判感化　著大人解決分歧同母異父兄弟涉姦表妹　辯方指事主曾問試唔試下　非法性交罪成孖生姊妹多番遭契哥非禮　向契媽投訴被斥抵你　契哥罪成囚3年半 View the full article

Installée en banlieue chic parisienne, cette animatrice n'y voit pas que des bons côtés. Au micro d'Europe 1, elle a confié vivre non loin d'un lieu où plusieurs personnalités ont poussé leur dernier souffle. Voilà plusieurs années maintenant que Sophie Favier a déserté les plateaux télé. L'animatrice devenue célèbre dans les années 80, notamment grâce aux émissions Ciel, mon mardi ! de 1988 à 1990 et Coucou c'est nous ! de 1992 à 1993, présentées par Christophe Dechavanne, n'est pas tombée dans l'oubli. Mardi 5 août, elle était d'ailleurs l'invitée du Club de l'été sur Europe 1. L'occasion pour elle d'évoquer ses différentes collaborations dans le monde des médias et notamment sa rencontre avec Thierry Ardisson. Une personnalité qui l'a beaucoup marquée. "Au début, (on a eu un peu mal à partir), oui, c'est vrai. Il me taquinait beaucoup, mais bon, c'était son fonds de commerce aussi, donc je ne lui en veux pas. Puis avec une très belle intelligence, donc voilà, admiration totale", a-t-elle déclaré. Ainsi, sa mort survenue le 14 juillet dernier suite à un cancer du foie ne l'a pas laissée de marbre. "J'étais totalement effondrée d'apprendre sa disparition", a-t-elle avoué. D'autant plus que, encore une fois, Sophie Favier était presque aux premières loges pour son grand départ. Pour cause, elle habite une commune aisée déjà classée au 3e rang des villes où "les riches sont les plus riches", située en banlieue parisienne où l'hôpital est connu pour avoir accompagné dans leurs derniers moments certaines des plus grandes stars, à l'image de Thierry Ardisson. (Reuters) -Myint Swe, who became Myanmar's president during a 2021 coup against an elected civilian government and immediately handed power to the military, has died a year after going on medical leave, the state broadcaster said on Thursday. The 74-year-old former general died in hospital on Thursday morning, state-run MRTV said. He became nominal president after the incumbent Win Myint was arrested during the coup alongside Nobel laureate and de facto leader, Aung San Suu Kyi. They have been detained ever since. Myanmar has been in chaos since the coup plunged the Southeast Asian nation into civil war, with the military fighting to contain a rebellion and accused of widespread atrocities, which it denies. Myint Swe had served as vice president under Myanmar's quasi-civilian system before becoming the figurehead president. The junta had depended on him to sign its decrees and provide a veneer of legitimacy to its rule. He was placed on medical leave in July last year, with his duties passed to junta chief and armed forces commander Min Aung Hlaing. Last week, the military nominally transferred power to a civilian-led interim government ahead of a planned election later this year, with the military chief remaining in charge of the war-torn country in his other role as acting president. Japan’s precipitous population decline shows no sign of slowing, with the nation shrinking by more than 900,000 people last year – the biggest annual drop on record, according to government data. The data, released by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications on Wednesday, showed that the number of Japanese nationals fell by 908,574 in 2024, bringing the total population to 120 million. Since peaking at 126.6 million in 2009, the population has declined for 16 consecutive years, diminished by various factors like a struggling economy and deep-seated gender norms. With the population of Japanese nationals set to continue plummeting for decades yet, the country will feel the blow to its pension and health care systems, and other social infrastructure that is difficult to maintain with a shrinking workforce. The government has been trying to fight the decline for more than a decade, with efforts accelerating in recent years as the full scale of the crisis became clear – doing everything from offering childbirth and housing subsidies to encouraging fathers to take paternity leave. But each year, fewer babies are born, and more deaths are recorded – a vicious cycle and a symptom of a population skewing older and older. The proportion of elderly is too high – accounting for nearly 30% of the entire population, according to the new data – while the proportion of younger adults, of child-bearing and working age, is continually shrinking. Last year was no exception. The number of births recorded, at just 687,689, was the lowest among records going back to 1968 – while the number of deaths, at nearly 1.6 million, was the highest on record. The working-age population, defined as between 15 to 64, made up only 59% of the population in Japan last year – far lower than the global average of 65%, according to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). This decline has been decades in the making, thanks to Japan’s consistently low fertility rate since the 1970s. Because of this, sociologists and demographers say, there’s no quick fix – and it’s not reversible. Even if Japan manages to boost its fertility rate dramatically and immediately – which is a big “if” – its population is bound to keep decreasing for at least several more decades until the skewed young-old ratio balances out, and the babies being born now reach childbearing age themselves. Are immigrants the answer?Experts have pointed to Japan’s high cost of living, stagnant economy and wages, limited space, and demanding work culture as reasons fewer people are opting to date, marry or have children. For women, economic costs are not the only turn-off. Japan remains a highly patriarchal society in which married women are often expected to take the caregiver role, despite government efforts to get husbands more involved. Single parents are far less common in Japan than in many Western countries. Many of these issues are also plaguing other East Asian nations with their own population woes, including China and South Korea. One possible solution, experts have pointed out, would be to plug the gap by welcoming more immigrants – a controversial topic in Japan, a largely conservative country that perceives itself as ethnically homogenous. Foreign residents and Japanese nationals of mixed ethnicity have long complained of xenophobia, racism and discrimination. But the government has leaned into this option, launching a new digital nomad visa and crafting a new plan to upskill foreign workers. And there are signs it may be taking effect; the number of foreign residents in Japan increased by more than 10% last year to a record high of 3.6 million people, according to the new data.
