Ngày 21/8, Phòng Cảnh sát Kinh tế (Công an TP Đà Nẵng) cho biết đã khởi tố thêm 20 bị can về các tội: Sử dụng mạng máy tính, mạng viễn thông, phương tiện điện tử thực hiện hành vi chiếm đoạt tài sản; Rửa tiền; Mua bán trái phép thông tin tài khoản ngân hàng; Làm giả con dấu, tài liệu của cơ quan, tổ chức; Sử dụng con dấu, tài liệu giả của cơ quan, tổ chức xảy ra tại Đà Nẵng và nhiều tỉnh, thành liên quan. Đây là kết quả đấu tranh giai đoạn 2 chuyên án bí số 1222T, mở rộng điều tra đường dây rửa tiền, mua bán trái phép thông tin tài khoản ngân hàng và làm giả con dấu, tài liệu mà Công an Đà Nẵng khởi tố từ tháng 1/2025. Trong số những người bị khởi tố có một số nhân viên ngân hàng bị cáo buộc đã cấu kết với tội phạm mở tài khoản ngân hàng cho các doanh nghiệp “ma”, phục vụ hoạt động lừa đảo, rửa tiền. Cơ quan điều tra đã tiến hành khám xét trụ sở chi nhánh ngân hàng để thu thập tài liệu, chứng cứ, đồng thời đang mở rộng điều tra, xử lý các ngân hàng khác có liên quan. Đối tượng còn làm giả nhiều con dấu của ngân hàng, cơ quan, tổ chức công chứng để hợp thức hóa hồ sơ pháp lý, chứng thực căn cước công dân và giấy phép đăng ký kinh doanh giả. Trên cơ sở đó, T.Q.T. đã đăng ký mở hơn 600 tài khoản ngân hàng doanh nghiệp, sau đó bán lại cho các đối tượng khác để sử dụng trong hoạt động luân chuyển, hợp thức hóa dòng tiền có nguồn gốc phạm tội (lừa đảo, đánh bạc…) từ nước ngoài về Việt Nam. Cảnh sát xác định tổng số tiền giao dịch qua hệ thống tài khoản này lên tới gần 30.000 tỷ đồng. Ngay trong tối cùng ngày, người nhà liên tục nhận được các cuộc gọi uy hiếp, yêu cầu chuyển tiền, nên đã trình báo cơ quan công an. Nhận định đây có thể là một vụ lừa đảo chiếm đoạt tài sản qua hình thức “bắt cóc online”, Đội Hình sự Đặc nhiệm (Phòng Cảnh sát hình sự – Công an TPHCM) phối hợp với Công an phường Tân Sơn Hòa nhanh chóng vào cuộc điều tra. Trong suốt quá trình này, gia đình N. nhiều lần bị các đối tượng lừa đảo gọi điện yêu cầu chuyển tiền và đã chuyển gần 3 tỉ đồng vào tài khoản do nhóm này chỉ định. Lần theo dấu vết di chuyển, lực lượng trinh sát đã xác định vị trí và giải cứu an toàn cho N. tại khu vực phường Long Hương, TP Vũng Tàu (cũ). Cơ quan công an đang mở rộng điều tra vụ việc, đồng thời khuyến cáo người dân nâng cao cảnh giác trước các thủ đoạn giả danh bắt cóc nhằm đe dọa, chiếm đoạt tài sản.
